Daria is from Moscow and moved to Harrogate, North Yorkshire, in 2014. Her classes are heavily focused on alignment, how to take a pose from its basic shape to more advanced ones and how to do it in an injury-free, playful way. DariYoga is a mixture of Hatha Yoga with elements of vinyasa flow, and sometime classes can include a portion of Yin, or even Kundalini.
When did you start yoga?
My yoga journey began in 2007 at the Indian Embassy in Moscow with Dr. Suresh Babu and carried on at various places but most importantly - at Prana Yoga school where it had gone up to a new level of dedication and depth. DariYoga started in June 2017 straight after my qualification in May 2017, taught by RYS Quaternity Yoga.
Where people can find you online?
Physically I am based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, UK, and this is where I teach face-to-face pre- and post- Pandemic, but currently I offer classes via Zoom that can be accessed via my website www.dariyoga.co.uk.
I like to push my students a little bit more in my Yoga Strong classes, but also to give an opportunity to relax and recharge in slower sessions, but both will be taught in a caring, attentive way. As a teacher I offer affordable classes with encouraged drop-ins and expiry date-free blocks of classes so that there's no added pressure!
I have also been growing my
YouTube channel with a variety of sessions for home practice. A few of them feature Loony Legs :)
What do you like about loony legs
I love bold colours and patterns, and used to be obsessed with Black Milk Clothing for that reason. I haven't seen anything like that for a while until I came across your brand on CamiYogair! The designs are so eye-catching, I couldn't resist getting some! I love the fabric, and how it feels super-soft and stretchy and tight at the same time. I got the sweatshirt too, which is extra fluffy and warm, and perfect for slow yoga!
