Plant a tree with Loony Legs

A TINY BUT MEANINGFUL ACTION

For every order sold, we will plant a tree. It's a simple but affective act to offset our CO2 and help protect the planet.

Of course we don't do it ourselves (we make great leggings but are not great gardeners). To make this happen, we have partnered up with Tree-Nation, an organization dedicated to fighting climate change and reforesting the world.

Tree-Nation currently has over 70 plantation projects located in 33 countries. To date, more than 118.000 citizens and 1.500 companies have used the platform to plant trees.

WHY PLANTING A TREE?

Climate Change is caused by greenhouse gas emissions, of which CO2 is by far the most important one. In fact, deforestation is responsible for a surge of 17% in these CO2 emissions.

We decided that to plant a tree was the best thing that we could do to offset our own CO2 emissions and also to contribute to the regrowing of wildlife habitats.

This is in addition to our commitment to only produce products that our customers actually want, so that the leftover stock doesn't end up into landfills (you can read more about that here).

HOW DO I PLANT MY TREE?

When you have placed an order with Loony Legs you will receive a confirmation email from us with details of your order.

A little later you will receive a separate email from Tree-Nation with the title 'Loony Legs offered you a tree on Tree-Nation' (If you don't receive this in your inbox within one hour, please check your spam filter or under promotions).

Open this email, click on the link, go to the Tree-Nation webpage and plant your own tree in the Loony Legs forest!

TRANSPARENCY AND PROOF

We choose Tree-Nation also because of their commitment world-wide and their transparency. Every tree that is planted receives a certificate and the owner can see all the information regarding the real tree, like its location, species and how much CO2 is absorbed by each tree.
